Technical Overview
The Aventure 3 ships as a Class II ebike, with pedal assist and throttle. The Aventure 3 will also operate with the throttle unplugged and removed, should you want to ride in an area that only allows Class I ebikes or throttles are prohibited. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX5-rated standard. An IPX5 rating means the bike is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This provides a moderate level of water resistance, allowing you to ride in light to moderate rain or through small puddles. However, IPX5 does not mean waterproof—Aventon ebikes are not designed for full submersion. Avoid using a pressure washer or high-pressure sprayer to clean your ebike, as pressurized water can still damage components. *Max range is determined using PAS 1 on flat terrain with a rider weight of 160 lb.*

Integrated Rear Wheel Lock
An integrated rear wheel lock adds an extra layer of security by immobilizing your bike when parked, preventing it from being easily rolled away. Controlled through the Aventon app or directly on the bike display, this lock deters theft and gives you peace of mind when leaving your bike unattended.
Sensor Switch
Like two bikes in one, choose between using a Torque or Cadence sensor with Sensor Switch. Whether you want to feel the power on the pedals or just cruise, Aventon’s Sensor Switch gives you the option to optimize your ride.
Boost Mode
Available on all ACU-equipped, hub-driven ebike models, Boost Mode allows the rider to access up to 120% of specced torque and peak power for up to 30 seconds at a time. It turns steep hills into shortcuts and handles heavy hauls hassle free.
GPS† Tracking
With built in GPS†, you can easily track your bikes' location through the Aventon app, and even receive alerts if it’s moved unexpectedly.
Hold Mode
Keep gravity at bay when you need a break. Hold Mode keeps your bike from rolling backwards when you need a break from walking it up an incline. Release the Walk Mode button to activate Hold Mode for up to 30 seconds at a time.
Ride Tune
Easily customize your ride feel through the Aventon app by fine tuning your torque, assistance, and pedal response in each of the three pedal assist modes
Cross-Model Keyless Battery System
Quickly unlock and remove your battery directly through the bike’s display, offering fast, secure, and convenient access without worrying about keeping track of a set of keys. With cross-model compatability, your Aventure 3 battery will also work on the Abound SR, Abound LR, Level 3, and Pace 4.
Over-the-Air Updates
Over-the-air updates ensure your bike receives the latest ride features and improvements automatically through the bike’s display, keeping it up to date without a visit to the shop.
Return Policy
Customers may return and Ebike Purchased New from Summit City Ebikes LLC within 14 days of date of purchase with a 15% restocking fee.
Returns requested after 14 days from the date of purchase may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
Any e-bike that has been ridden or used outside of Summit City Ebikes LLC premises is considered used. Used e-bikes approved for return are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
If the condition of the e-bike is any less than the condition it was in when it left Summit City Ebikes LLC, the return (if approved) will be subject to the 15% restocking fee plus the cost of any damages, repairs, cleaning, missing parts, or accessories needed to restore the bike to its original condition.
Summit City Ebikes LLC reserves the right to refuse any return for any reason, including but not limited to signs of use, damage, missing items, or excessive wear.
